From August 26th, 2010 everyone can follow the work in progress, live, at the construction site of the National Stadium in Warsaw through the lens of a rotary camera!

For the first time in Poland, the National Sports Center and Panasonic have enabled all those interested in construction of the National Stadium in Warsaw to watch it live. The camera makes it possible to see the Stadium in real time 24 hours a day. The construction progress can be followed on the website.

The National Sports Center is proud of the project. “Everyday hundreds, even thousands of people want to see the construction work in the National Stadium. With this live broadcast we hope to meet the expectations of all those interested in the construction. Now you can follow the progress of the work at the Stadium without any problem. All you need to do is to go to our website,” said Daria Kulińska, NCS spokesperson. “In the coming days, the camera will make it possible to watch crucial moments in the construction work, e.g. tensioning the steel cables on the stands and installing the spire,” she said.

So far, the construction work at the National Stadium in Warsaw could be observed with two cameras which broadcast an image updated every few minutes.

Live broadcast from the National Stadium construction site is in effect cooperation with Panasonic which have provided a state-of-the-art CCTV dome camera which ensures round-the-clock highest quality images.

“Everyone can now enter the stands and marvel at how the Stadium is being built. Although the visit the Stadium is a virtual one, the quality of the video and broadcast in real time from the Panasonic camera makes it possible to participate in the creation of Polish sporting history,”
