Martin Kallen, UEFA Chief Operations Officer, visited the construction site of the National Stadium in Warsaw on 12th May. It was his first visit to the Stadium after a several months break.
The UEFA Chief Officer made no secret of the positive impression that the situation of work advancement made on him. “The Stadium makes an outstanding impression,” Kallen said. “The National Stadium in Warsaw will be one of the best Stadiums in Europe and its retractable roof is its great advantage,” he added.
“Martin Kallen had a chance to see the lowest Stadium levels, where installation work is most advanced, and the emerging steel roof construction,” said Rafał Kapler, CEO of the National Sports Center.
During his visit to Warsaw, Martin Kallen met the Vice-President of Warsaw and the Minister of Sport and Tourism.
