Installation of the steel structure which, after the assembly of the main steel structure has entered the subsequent phase, will be accelerated in the days to come. With the experience gained in the assembly of the first two sets of angle struts and stays, the ‘ones’, it should be possible to increase the momentum of work to complete the installation of all the 72 pylons in September.
Yesterday, the last precast concrete stand component was delivered to the construction site. Completion of the assembly of stands is scheduled for August and then the removal of the heavy cranes from the site will begin. Only one lift will be left, needed for the tensioning on the roof structure of the steel cables.
Preparatory work for cable tensioning are underway – the stands are being secured for placement of the cables and prepared for lifting. Work on the central spire is progressing in the Cegielski factory in Poznan.
An audit is due to take place next week in connection with the placement of the central keystone of cables on the spire. The spire will be delivered to the site at the end of August beginning of September.
10 out of 39 elevators designed for the Stadium are currently being installed. Installation of the plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems is progressing along with the finishing work, including those on the glass and aluminum facade.
