Installation of lift structures has been started in the stadium building at the construction site of the National Stadium in Warsaw.
37 lifts of various types have been designed for the National Stadium: passenger lifts for offices and other service areas, freight lifts, fire service lifts, dumbwaiters, and lifts for VIP guests. The lifts are made by the Finnish company KONE.
At the same time preparations have been started to install flights of escalators. 34 flights have been designed at the National Stadium, including 3 sets of escalator flights that lead to the upper promenade. Other escalators will be installed in the main lobby and conference centre.
The main steel construction is continuing to be installed (46 pillars and 40 elements of the inner ring truss have been completed). The completion of the pillars and ring is scheduled for the 1st half of July.Installation work (sanitary, mechanical, electric and low-current) is still in progress, and is proceeding upwards from level -4 to -1.
Appliances are being installed for the regional power supply located within the Stadium. This investment is being carried out by RWE STOEN.
