On 13th May, the National Sports Center received 6 bids from companies participating in the tender for providing hardware and management software for the IT network in the National Stadium in Warsaw. The lowest bid was placed by Qumak-Secom S.A.
Tender bids were the following:
1. SOLIDEX S.A., Krakow 48,652,380.00 PLN gross
2. NextiraOne Polska Sp. z o.o., Warsaw 35,251,698.70 PLN gross
3. Asseco Systems S.A., Warsaw 40,963,386.12 PLN gross
4. Telekomunikacja Polska S.A., Warsaw 38,332,400.00 PLN gross
5. Intertrading Systems Technology Sp. z o.o., Warsaw 36,479,428.58 PLN gross
6. Qumak-Secom S.A., Warsaw 32,357,186.48 PLN gross
The gross price offered for completing the order constitutes the only selection criterion. The value of the subject-matter of the tender is included in the total budget for the construction of the National Stadium in Warsaw which amounts to 1,569,370,000 PLN net. In accordance with the procedure, the Tender Committee will now carry out a formal and legal assessment of the correct form of submitted bids. The Committee will then announce a company selected to complete the order. Those companies which had deposited bids will have time (10 days) to file complaints after which the agreement with the contractor will be signed.
“Interest shown by companies in this tender and the participation of market flagship companies confirms how prestigious the project of constructing the National Stadium in Warsaw is,” commented Robert Wojtaś, President of the Tender Committee, Vice-President of the Management Board, Director of Project Management and Organisation of UEFA EURO 2012™.
The public invitation to tender for supplying, installing and launching active hardware, installing system and tool software and conducting project and programmer work in order to develop IT network for the National Stadium in Warsaw was announced on 31st March 2010. During the tender, potential tenderers presented 176 inquiries. One appeal was submitted to the National Appeal Chamber as well. The Chamber dismissed all objections raised in the appeal by Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. regarding them as unjustified.
